Hello from Hakuba inn Bloom. Allow me introduce the flow of our popular raden workshops.
① Let our driver pick you up from your accommodation. (For groups of 3 or more in summer)
② Settle down and listen to an introduction about raden art and its history and uses.
③ Choose from a wide range of bases such as chopstick, hair pins, cufflinks and more.
④ Have a look at previous designs to get some core inspiration.
⑤ Choose the parts that will make you vision come to like. All of parts are authentic shell cut in Toyama prefecture.
⑥ Be taught the techniques to really make your art shine.
⑦ Enjoy the process, take your time, feel the zen and relax.
⑧ Once you’re finished, pass your piece on to your instructor for the finishing process.
⑨ Take your finished work home on the same day!
⑩ It’s time to see good-bye for now. See you again next time you’re feeling crafty.
