Blooming Hakuba, Part 1 Tsugaike Nature Park

お知らせ

When the snow melts in Hakuba, the mountains quietly wake up.

One of the first places to bloom is Tsugaike Nature Park.

A Walk Above the Clouds

In early summer, this highland park turns into a soft green marshland.

White mizubashō (skunk cabbage) and yellow daylilies bloom gently under the mountain sky.

Boardwalk trails make this an easy and peaceful stroll for all ages.

You can take your time, listen to birdsong, and enjoy the scent of new summer grass.

Getting There from Hakuba Inn Bloom

Tsugaike is about a 20-minute drive from our inn.
Gondolas run in summer and take you directly to the park entrance.

We can help you check flower timing and lift schedules. Just ask anytime.

After a calm walk among the flowers, come back to Hakuba Inn Bloom and rest your feet.
We’ll have cool drinks and quiet time waiting for you. 🌿
